1．Our co-worker went missing for a few hours, and we tore up the place looking for him. The boss finally found him fast asleep. Rather than wake him, he quietly placed a note on the man's chest. "As long as you're asleep," it read, "you have a job. But as soon as you wake up, you're fired."
我的同事有好幾小時(shí)不見(jiàn)人了。我們瘋了地到處找他。最后老板發(fā)現(xiàn)，他正在睡大覺(jué)。沒(méi)叫醒他，老板悄無(wú)聲息地在我的同事的胸前放了個(gè)紙條。"睡覺(jué)時(shí)"，條上寫(xiě)著，"你是我的員工，醒來(lái)你就不是了。"
2. Best Reward
A naval officer fell overboard. He was rescued by a deck hand. The officer asked how he could reward him.
"The best way, sir," said the deck hand, "is to say nothing about it. If the other fellows knew I'd pulled you out, they'd chuck me in."
